The Elders of Fredericktowne Baptist Church desire to be Christ’s shepherds to the people of God that He has entrusted to us. As overseers of the church, we desire to properly care for the entire work including both people and programs.

We are committed to making Fredericktowne Baptist Church a church that places an emphasis on glorifying God, preaching the gospel, and making disciples. We believe that the thrust of our ministry should be upward towards God, inward towards each other, and outward towards a lost world.

We believe that in conjunction with the entire pastoral staff, we can shepherd this body through Christ. It is our desire to be faithful to the great Shepherd of the sheep.

Please pray for us as elders that we might be faithful to God and His sheep and that also we might be protected from the enemy who desires to destroy us. Pray also that we obey the Scripture’s expectation of us for it says,

“shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.” (1 Peter 5:2,3)
