AWANA - Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

Introduction
The goal of the AWANA ministry is to “reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.” FBC AWANA offers a nursery club for the infants through two year olds of AWANA leaders, where little ones are consistently reminded of God’s love.

Parent involvement is essential for the younger clubbers to be able to complete their work. It is necessary for the parent and child to work on assignments together during the week. There is no time like the present to “Train up your child in the way he should go,” so that, “when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs:22:6.)

AWANA is an international evangelism and equipping ministry for children ages 3 years through grade 12. The acronym, AWANA, is based on 2 Timothy:2:15: Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed, but are instead, able, through diligent study, to rightly handle the Word of Truth.
